Principal's News

    Welcome

Maynard Elementary is a small school nestled in the middle of the Mechanicsville community.  Many of our students are within walking distance to the school.
Maynard Elementary School was established in 1897. It has a rich history within the community as it is located next to the Knoxville College campus.  Many of our students have parents and grandparents that have attended the school.

Being a small school, we are able to provide our students with a safe, learning environment.  Our expectations are high for both students and staff.
We have moved into the technology era as we are a one-to-one school with chrome books for every 1st - 5th grade student.  Our kindergarten students are introduced to technology through the use of iPads.
We’ve also recently obtained a new digital marquee in front of our school provided by KCS.  Our hope is to keep families and community abreast of our upcoming school events.

We welcome students and their families to Maynard Elementary as we strive to improve academic outcomes for all!

    Tigers are grrrrreat!!!

We have some exciting events coming up.
