Excellence for Every Child
Welcome to Halls Middle School.
As Principal, I invite you to become an active participant in our school community. Halls Middle School is an outstanding middle school and has a long history of providing students with an excellent education and enriching activities that help them become academically proficient, socially responsible, and developmentally prepared to successfully enter and complete high school.
You may notice a “new look” on our website; Knox County Schools has a new website provider, and we are in the process of moving our content onto this new platform. Please bear with us as we build our web pages, and if you have suggestions or questions, please let us know. We want this website to be an effective resource and communication tool for students, teachers and parents.
Preview Day - Friday, August 8, 2014 from 8:30 - 12:00
We encourage all incoming 6th
graders, new students, and parents to attend on this day. Knox County
Schools will provide bus transportation for students and will follow normal bus
routes. Parents are also welcome to bring students and may stay for part
or all of the day. Students will have an opportunity to meet their
teachers and become familiar with Halls Middle School.
In order to ensure your child is up to date on records, please view the 6th Grade Vaccination Flyer and/or the 7th Grade Immunizations documents. If your child is a 7th grader, you must provide your school with an immunization certificate proving your child has received Tdap and two doses of the varicella vaccine.
* Note: Up-coming 6th grade students that attended a Halls Middle feeder school will not need to register.
