Excellence for Every Child
Welcome to Halls Middle School. I am honored to serve as Principal of Halls Middle School. I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful community and school. Our desire is to provide your student with an enriching and engaging middle school experience that helps them grow not only academically but socially and emotionally as well. We want to provide rigorous and engaging instruction in the classroom as well as multiple opportunities for involvement in clubs and activities before and after the school day. We want each and every student to leave our building prepared for high school and the challenges beyond.
Our mission: "Serving others--striving for greatness" will take the effort of all administrators, faculty, students, and parents. Working together we can help ensure all students at Halls Middle experience greatness.
You can help your child be successful in school by:
•Holding him/her accountable for learning, behavior, and school involvement
•Becoming involved at Halls Middle School
•Supporting the teachers
•Celebrating your student(s) success
•Communicating positively with your student and his/her teacher(s)
Balfour has extended our final yearbook ordering deadline to February 28, 2016. At this time we are over 200 yearbooks behind last year's sales. THIS IS LAST CHANCE TO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR CHILD WILL RECEIVE A YEARBOOK IN MAY. At this point the school has no plans to order any additional yearbooks for Spring delivery! Click the image below to order your yearbook today.
The standard yearbook, one of the lowest-priced middle school yearbooks in Knox County, is still available at $35. Students can personalize their yearbook with up to 25 characters in foil stamping on the cover for $5 more. Those wishing to pay by check or money order must use the order form that went home with first quarter report cards. No money will be collected at school! All orders must be made to Smart-Pay via credit/debit card, check, or money order. Additional order forms are available in the main office or from Mr. Bennett in room 250. If you have any questions please email the Halls Middle School yearbook adviser, Andrew Bennett, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the main office at 865-922-7494.
Parents who choose to drop off their child in the mornings have two options: 1) Drop off your child in the Beaver Dam church parking lot and have them use the crosswalk, or 2) Use the third left turn in the school parking lot where the sign says "Car Line". DO NOT endanger your child or the safety of other children by dropping off your child in the teacher parking lot, the turnaround in front of the school, the second left turn into the parking lot, or by driving around the traffic cones and sawhorses! Please follow the car line that goes in front of the high school gym, and drop off your child at the portico area ONLY.
