Student supports
Knox County Schools is committed to ensuring every student has access to the support and resources they need to thrive. That means keeping academic success at the center while also recognizing the importance of students’ emotional, physical, and social well-being. These student supports are designed to help every learner reach their full potential
Private practitioners play a pivotal role in the care of students. To ensure all practitioners and the district have the necessary information, Knox County Schools has setup a Private Practitioner Portal. Access it here.

section 504
Section 504 ensures that students with disabilities have access to an education comparable to their peers without disabilities. For students with a mental or physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities, a Section 504 plan may be developed to provide appropriate accommodations or modifications.
