Project SEARCH
Project SEARCH is a school-to-work transition program designed to open doors to competitive, fulfilling employment for young people with significant disabilities. Through real-world work experience, hands-on skills training, and daily support from educators and job coaches, participants build the confidence and independence needed for success beyond high school.
Over the course of the program, students take part in immersive career exploration, receive consistent feedback from mentors, and learn to navigate the expectations of the modern workplace. By the end of the year, graduates are ready to step into challenging, rewarding roles—often in fields not traditionally seen as accessible.
Project SEARCH doesn't just benefit students. It also helps shift workplace culture, expanding ideas about what’s possible and creating long-term impact for businesses, communities, and the future of inclusive hiring.
The 2026-27 Project SEARCH program is currently full. applications for the upcoming year will open in fall 2026.
