Back-to-School Safety Press Conference

Interim Superintendent Buzz Thomas, along with Knoxville Police Chief David Rausch, Knox County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Eddie Biggs, and Knox County Schools Chief of Security Gus Paidousis, will host the 2016 Back-to-School Safety Press Conference at Northwest Middle School on Thursday, August 4th at 10 a.m.

They will present information about enhanced bus safety, school zone safety, and school security measures. They will also be making a call to action for members of the Knox County Schools community for increased safety awareness as school buses begin transporting thousands of students to school each day beginning Aug. 8.

Two or more Board of Education members may be in attendance.
