Summer School Schedule Set; Virtual Summer School Offered
The Knox County Schools is preparing for summer school sessions for middle and high school students. Dates, times, and locations of the various programs include these:
Middle School Summer School
May 27-June 23; 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch period

High school locations: All high schools except Career Magnet Academy at Pellissippi State
- Students will begin coursework online at their zoned schools and after showing adequate option to complete the online work off site.
- Career Magnet Academy students may attend summer school in their zoned schools.
- Driver’s Education will be offered at two schools only: Central High School and Hardin Valley Academy. Students from any school in the county may participate in these classes. A certain number of slots will be open; students will enroll on a first-come, first-served basis. A $120 fee is charged for Driver’s Education.
