Recruitment Fairs Set for Priority Staffing Schools, Certified, Classified Positions

The Knox County Schools’ Human Resources Department will host two recruitment fairs for certified professionals and one recruitment fair for classified positions.
 
Certified Recruitment Fairs:
On Saturday, April 11, 2015, a Priority Staffing Schools Recruitment Fair will be held at Central High School (5321 Jacksboro Pike), 9 a.m.-noon. Certified professionals interested in employment in a priority staffing school in the Knox County Schools are encouraged to attend and learn more about the positions available. A Certified Employees Recruitment Fair will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Central High School (5321 Jacksboro Pike), 9 a.m.-noon.
 
At both certified recruitment fairs, representatives from the Knox County Schools will be onsite to meet and/or interview candidates. Certified positions are those that require a license issued by the Tennessee Department of Education.
 
Classified Recruitment Fair:
On Saturday, June 27, 2015, the Knox County Schools will host a Classified Employees Recruitment Fair at Central High School (5321 Jacksboro Pike), 9 a.m.-noon. Representatives from the Knox County Schools will be on site to meet and interview candidates. Classified positions do not require certification from the Tennessee Department of Education and typically include bookkeepers, clerks, maintenance or custodial staff, food service staff, instructional assistants, security personnel and others. Candidates may complete applications in advance by visiting knoxschools.org/hr.
