Knox County Schools High School and Middle School Summer Programs

The secondary schools in the Knox County Schools are preparing for Summer School 2015. Dates, times, and locations of the various programs include these:

Middle School Summer School
Dates: May 27-June 23
Time: 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch period

Virtual High School Summer School
Dates: May 27- July 3
Time: 8:30 a.m.-12:00 noon
 
Locations: All high schools except Career Magnet Academy at Pellissippi State 
  • Students will begin coursework online at their base schools and after showing adequate progress will be given the option to complete the online work off site.
  • Career Magnet Academy students may attend summer school in their zoned schools.
  • Driver’s Education will be offered at two schools only: Central High School and Hardin Valley Academy. Students from any school in the county may participate in these classes. A certain number of slots will be open; students will enroll on a first-come, first-served basis. A $120 fee is charged for Driver’s Education.

High School Summer Bridge (select incoming ninth graders only)
Dates: May 27-July 3
Time: 8:30 a.m.-12:00 noon
