Dr. Roy Miller, Principal at Mooreland Heights Elementary School, has been named the recipient of the Outstanding Collaborator Award from the University of Tennessee Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education (TPTE). According to the university, the outstanding collaborator makes “extraordinary commitments of time and expertise to support the preparation of effective and caring teachers, interpreters, and scholars in P-12 education....” The award will be presented at the inaugural TPTE Recognition Ceremony, Oct. 28, 2014, 3 p.m., at the Foundry in Knoxville.
