Several community representatives breaking ground      Adrian Burnett cheerleaders with the Superintendent

Monday, March 29, 2021 was a huge day in Adrian Burnett history. Knox County Schools celebrated our upcoming brand new building with a groundbreaking ceremony.

Speakers included Bob Thomas, our Superintendent; Patti Bounds, our school board representative; Mayor Glenn Jacobs; and our very own principal, Stephanie Prince. The day was filled with hope and excitement.

We cannot wait to enjoy the brand new building with our wonderful students and staff. Construction begins on April 12, and it will finish up in time for the 2022-2023 school year. So if your child is in 3rd grade right now, the will get to enjoy the new building when they're in 5th grade.

As things progress, you can look forward to more news from us on the new building. As always, thank you for your unwavering support of our school community.
