Information for Eighth Graders

It’s almost time to welcome the Class of 2027 to the nest! Eighth graders, mark your calendars for these dates:

EIGHTH GRADE VISIT DAY
Friday, March 24 from 9:30-11:15

Future Hawks will get a chance to see HVA in action during a school day. Eighth graders will travel from their middle school to HVA on KCS buses. This event is also open to eighth graders zoned for HVA who currently attend private school or are home-schooled. The Class of 2027 will meet the freshman leadership team, tour the campus, and learn more about our academic and elective programs. This day is for students only. 😀

EIGHTH GRADE NIGHT
Wednesday, March 8 from 5:30-7:00

Eighth graders and their parents are invited to attend one of two information sessions, one at 5:30 and another at 6:15. Both sessions will have the same information, presented by Dr. Speas and the freshman leadership team. Representatives from athletic teams, clubs, and academic programs will also be on hand from 5:30-7:00.

EIGHTH GRADE REGISTRATION FOR FEEDER SCHOOLS
Our counselors will be at Hardin Valley Middle, Cedar Bluff Middle, and Karns Middle to complete registration with eighth grade students between March 27 and April 3.

CURRENT PRIVATE SCHOOL/HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS
