Have you received a call that your student is on the quarantine list?

Dear Halls High Families,

I wanted to let you know that we are taking additional measures to clean and sanitize our building.  As always, the expectation is that everyone wears a mask properly, washes their hands frequently and maintains adequate physical distancing while at school.

If you exhibit symptoms of Covid-19, including fever, cough, sore throat, chills, shortness of breath, or loss or taste & smell, please call your primary care provider.  If you do not have a primary care provider, please contact the Health Department at (865) 215-5555.  If you test positive for Covid-19, please let us know immediately by calling 865-922-7757.

I understand that you may have questions and concerns; but as you know, I am not able to provide any additional information about specific covid related situations at school, due to privacy laws.

While quarantined, student should sign into CANVAS each morning to complete assignments and email their teachers with questions and concerns that are class related.

It's possible but not guaranteed that they can join class online while quarantined.  Students should check with each teacher to see if online class is available by signing into Microsoft Teams with their student log in.

Respectfully,

Spencer Long

Principal, Halls High School
