Classroom Supply Lists

Here you will find lists for requested classroom supplies, both for your student and for the classroom as a whole. These have been broken down by department.

There may be updates as requirements and current supply levels become more clear. Thank you for everything you do for Halls High School!

 

Mathematics

Students should have:

  • Notebook (any kind) and notebook paper
  • Graph Paper,
  • Pencil,
  • Colored Pencils
  • Ti-84 Calculator 
 
Classrooms request donations of:
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Lysol
  • Kleenex
 

Business

Students should have:

  • Pencils
  • Notebook paper
  • Folders
  • Pens
  • Calculator (any kind)
  • Colored Pencils
  • Markers

English Language Arts

Students should have:

  • Pencils
  • Pens (blue or black)
  • Highlighters
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Notebook

In addition to the above:

  • Ms. Starks-Winn requests that students have a notebook with pockets.
  • Ms. Cates requests that students bring three (3) spiral-bound notebooks.
  • Ms. Hoskins requests that students have a few art supplies, like glue, colored pencils, and/or markers.
  • Ms. Hurst requests that 10 CP students have a binder and colored pencils. 
  • Mr. McPhetridge requests that students have a 2" binder.
 
Classrooms request donations of:

Social Studies

Students should have:

  • Pencils/pens
  • 3-ring binder

World History

Students should have:

  • Markers or colored pencils

  • Notebook paper
  • Personal hand sanitizer
  • Tape

  • Index cards (AP Human students will need 250 3x5 cards)

In addition to the above:

Fine Arts

Visual Art

Students should have:

  • Pencils
  • White copy paper
  • Sketchbook
  • Crayola Watercolors
  • Large eraser
  • If possible, a large paper portfolio (can be purchased from Hobby Lobby, Walmart, and Jerry's Artarama) 

 Chorus

Students should have:

  • Pencils
  • 1" binder

Special Education

Ms. L. Phillips requests that students bring:

  • Coloring pencils
  • Small pencil sharpener
  • Scissors
  • Protractor
  • Ruler
  • Glue sticks - 4
  • Supply box (to keep the supplies in the classroom)
  • Pencils
  • TI - 84 Plus calculator (if possible as I don't have enough in my classroom without students sharing)

Ms. Semishko requests that students bring:

  • Pens/pencils
  • Spiral notebook or loose-leaf paper (college ruled)
  • Folder or 3-ring binder
  • Colored pencils
  • Highlighter
  • Index cards

Ms. Austin requests that students bring:

  • Pencils
  • Paper

Science

Ms. Lay requests that students bring:

  • Scientific calculator (for example, TI-30XIIS)
  • 3-ring binder (2" or 2.5") and dividers
  • Spiral-bound notebook or loose-leaf paper
  • Hardback composition notebook
  • Daily supplies:  Red Pen, Colored Pencils, Hand Held Pencil Sharpener, Pencils, Glue Stick, Blue or Black Pen, Highlighter, Fine Tip Dry Erase Marker

Social Studies

Mr. Polston requests that students bring:

  • 3-ring binder (1")

Physical Education

Wellness

Students should have:

  • 3-ring binder (1")
  • Paper
  • Pencils/pen

Students should have:

Construction Core and Structural Systems 1

  • Tape measure, preferably 25' (without the fractional read )
  • Speed square
  • Donation of 1 pack of copy paper in lieu of classroom fees appreciated.

All CADD Classes

  • 8 gig USB drive
