Seniors, if you have not yet completed the FAFSA, you are in danger of missing out on $8400 to $14,115 in college scholarships and grants for technical college, community college, or a four-year university. Your FAFSA needs to be filed by February 1, 2020 to be cleared for the TN Promise scholarship (2 years free tuition) and to qualify for state grants (HOPE Scholarship, Pell Grant, etc.). If you are in foster care or court guardianship, you do not need parent tax information. If you are, you can complete without parent tax info. You may see Mrs. Terjuna or Ms. Christi or Mr. Alan in College Access to make an appointment. Pages 39-41 of your senior’s blue spiral bound “Next Guide” has tips to get you started.
FAFSA FRIDAY: Friday, December 13th during your lunch in the library
FAFSA FRENZY: January 15th from 12:00-6:00 pm in the library
