23/24 Device Agreement and Device Insurance

Chromebook Device Agreement 2023-24 

Deadline: 8/18/23

  • Complete the Chromebook Device Agreement for EACH student you have enrolled in Knox County Schools: 

    • Device Agreement Form

      • You will need your child's Knox County Schools student ID number to complete this form.  This information can be found in the Aspen Family Portal, or you can contact your child's school to obtain the student ID number.  This is the same number that students use to login to Chromebooks and access grades in Aspen.  Students should know this number.

      • Be sure to type a capital "S" if front our your student's ID#. For example: S123456

  • Students who do not have a completed 2023-24 Chromebook Device Agreement in Incident IQ will NOT be allowed to remove school technology devices from the building.

KCS Device Insurance Payment 

Deadline: 9/30/23

  • The cost for any student to purchase the optional KCS Device Insurance is $20 for the 2023-24 school year.  

    • Online payment: SchoolCash Online 

      • Click here for directions on how to create SchoolCash Online account and add your children (you will need your child's student ID number).

    • Mail a check payment:

      • Please make the check out to KCS Device Insurance and write your student's ID number in the check memo line!

      • Mail you check to: 

        • KCS Device Insurance

        • Knoxville, TN 37901

  • Schools WILL NOT accept any payments for insurance at the school. 

  • We strongly recommend purchasing the optional KCS Device Insurance.

  • There is no fee waiver for KCS device insurance this year.
