2021-22 KCS Device Agreement & Optional Insurance Agreement

 

 

Halls Middle Students and Families,

 

Before your student can receive a school-issued Chromebook from Halls Middle School, students must have an accepted KCS Technology Device Agreement on file.  This agreement form is online and should only take a minute or two to complete.  If at all possible, please complete the Technology Device Agreement PRIOR to your student returning to school in August.  You WILL need to know your child's KCS student ID number to complete the form.

Knox County Schools is offering and administering a Device Protection/Insurance Plan available for all students in grades K-12. This plan covers accidental damage to school issued devices and was designed to limit a family’s financial responsibility for damages incurred by the student, either directly or indirectly. The attached agreement must be signed by each parent/guardian and returned to the school (electronically or on paper) in order for the protection plan to be effective.

Effective the 2021-22 school year there is NO fee waiver for the cost of the device protection plan for students who receive free/reduced lunch.  The cost for any student to purchase the optional device protection plan is $20 for the 2021-22 school year.  The $20 is payable through SchoolCashOnline. Halls Middle School WILL NOT accept any payments for insurance at the school.  You can pay online using the link below, or you can mail a check to:
