UPDATE! Free School Meals

Students at Powell Elementary School will have access to free breakfast and free lunch each school day for the 2024-2025 school year. 

What does this mean for you and your student(s)? All students enrolled at our school will be eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no cost.  While one breakfast and one lunch meal per school will be offered for free, students may still purchase second meals and/or a la carte items; however, please note that charging for these items to a student account is NOT allowed. Students must have cash or funds in their student meal account to purchase second meals or a la carte items.
