Update 8/9/24:

Dear families,

I want to share an important update about this year’s school calendar.

Based on feedback submitted by families and staff, the Board of Education has accepted our proposal to remove two early release days from the district calendar for the 2024-25 school year. This means that Wednesday, August 14, 2024, and Wednesday, January 22, 2025, will now be full instructional days.

In addition, a change was made to the other four early release days: September 18, 2024, November 20, 2024, February 12, 2025, and March 26, 2025.

These days will now be half-days, which means that students will dismiss at the following times:

• Preschool – 10:15 a.m.

• K-5 – 11:15 a.m.

• Middle and High school – Noon

• Career Magnet Academy and L&N STEM – 1 p.m.
