• Email setup for iPhone mobile phones

    1. From the home screen, select Settings.
    2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    3. Select Add Account. (If a message appears saying it cannot confirm the server, click continue.)
    4. When prompted, select Microsoft Exchange (iOS 6) or Exchange (iOS 7) as the account type.
    5. Configure your account by filling in the provided fields:
      • Email: Your primary email address (e.g. joe.user@knoxschools.org)
      • Password: Your email password and Active Directory password are the same.
      • Description: Enter a descriptive name for your account (e.g. School or Work)
    6. Select Next. Your device will attempt to connect to the mail server to verify settings.

      Note: If your device is unable to automatically obtain the server settings, please attempt the manual configuration steps listed below.

    7. Choose which items you would like to synchronize (Mail, Contacts, and/or Calendars), then select Save.

    Manual Configuration

    If your device is unable to automatically obtain the server settings in Step 6 of the above section, you will be brought to a screen where they can be entered manually. Please enter the following before selecting Next:

    • Email: Your primary email address (e.g. joe.user@knoxschools.org)
    • Sever: outlook.office365.com
    • Domain: leave blank
    • Username: Your primary email address (e.g. joe.user@knoxschools.org)
    • Password: Your email password and Active Directory password are the same.
    • Description: Enter a descriptive name for your account (e.g. school or work)
