Knox County Schools Night Alternative Program (NAP) was established for students at the High School level that have been suspended from their base school for more than eleven days. NAP is usually a temporary placement for students that receive a long term suspension greater than 90 days until they either return to their base school, or are processed to attend the Richard Yoakley School Day Program. NAP currently has two sites to serve students: Byington-Solway and Richard Yoakley School. Students are placed at a site by the NAP Coordinator based on their current school assignment and availability of seats. Students attend three hours a night Monday through Thursday. Students receive instruction through computer programs and direct instruction. For more information about NAP contact Michelle Clayton at 594-3790 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
