Farragut Intermediate’s Student Council represents the voice of the students.  Each year a group of students are elected by their peers to promote school spirit and participate in activities that help our school as well as our community.  Students share their ideas, concerns, and opinions with the Student Council sponsors as well as administrative staff at Farragut Intermediate.

Some examples of the activities that Student Council members plan and participate in are, but are not limited to:

    • Hat day
    • Clothing Drives
    • School Supply Drives
    • Nurse’s Week
    • Nurse’s supply drive
    • School Spirit Weeks
    • Thank-A-Teacher
    • Teacher Appreciation
    • End of year trip

Students who meet the academic criteria and behavior standards for Student Council are eligible to run for student council after submitting an application and a former teacher’s recommendation.  Student Council meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month unless otherwise noted.
