Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is our new school-wide program to show our high expectations for behavior. We need ALL of our students to do their very best each day to behave in an appropriate way so that they can learn and be successful! So, staff will be rewarding students with tickets every day for meeting school expectations.
Although we have already set expectations for every area of the school, for the 2017-2018 school year, we will first be focusing on rewarding students for meeting expectations for the hallways, bathrooms, playgrounds and cafeteria. In future years, we will add the other areas until we are fully PBIS schoolwide. Students will have multiple opportunities every day to earn tickets for making good choices. There will be class rewards as well as school rewards for meeting expectations in these areas.
