What you need to know to hopefully keep them away!

People normally get sick this time of year as they spend more time indoors and are less active.  During this time many of us will turn to the electric glow of our various devices to keep us warm and cozy.  Even at school, device usage goes up as teachers find many new ideas over their breaks to try out in their classes.  So, what do you need to do to try to avoid getting sick?

    Let's look at the basics:

1- make sure you wash your hands frequently

2- keep "Germ-X" or your favorite brand of hand sanitizer close at all times

3- disinfect your devices...you can use alcohol to clean keyboards, headphones and mice but you do not want to use that on a monitor/screen unless it has a screen protector on it

4- did we say wash your hands often

5- Apple suggests that you clean your devices with brands such as "Monster CleanTouch" or "IKlenz"

6- don't cough/sneeze into your hand, instead turn your head towards the inside area of your elbow, armpit or inside your shirt

7- just in case you missed this part, make sure you are washing your hands as often as possible with warm soapy water

8- lastly try not to share your device with others

Keep these things in mind and do your best to stay healthy!
