DUAL ENROLLMENT DIESEL

 

DE Diesel is a Dual Enrollment class through TCAT at the Byington campus that provides students with the technical instruction and skill development to enable them to continue their hours at TCAT after graduation in order to enter employment in truck, construction, agricultural equipment, and other related fields as technicians.  It is a 2 block class for students in 11th and 12th grade and is available both semesters to help students accumulate as many hours as possible to transfer to the TCAT program at the TCAT campus after receiving their High School Diploma.

After completing the TCAT program, students are well prepared to enter the workforce after TCAT graduation.  The Diesel Powered Equipment Technology program is accredited by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF).
