Below are some common Q & As from Seniors in the College & Career Center...
1. How do I order my final transcript?
> Go to: BHS website - School Counseling - College & Career Center - Sending Transcripts - Order Records (this takes you to the Parchment site) - New or Existing Learner Account - Dashboard: order your transcript & follow steps - Before submitting, choose HOLD FOR GRADES (this tells us to wait until final grades are in)
2. How do I send my DE transcript to the college I’ll be attending?
> Go to the PSCC website. Click on the College Services tab. From the drop down menu, select Records.
Scroll to the very bottom to find Request Transcript information.
Follow the directions (request in your myPellissippi account).
The Knoxville Area Urban League is currently recruiting students for the September 2019 class of inductees. The National Achievers Society is open to students of color who will be in grades 10-12 in the fall of 2019 and have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Sponsored locally by the Knoxville Area Urban League, students enrolled in high schools throughout Knoxville and surrounding areas participate in this post-secondary preparation program. The goals of the National Achievers Society are to inspire youth to recognize that academic achievement is attainable and to nurture youth as they pursue their educational, social, and personal goals. Paid Summer Internship Opportunity to Learn About Teaching
When: June 2019, from 8am-1pm each weekday for 4 weeks
What: An internship to learn about STEM teaching - you will teach
and learn under the guidance of mentor teachers and UT faculty
Previous Experiecne: No experience necessary - an interest in teaching is expected
Who: Graduating high school seniors (who intend to enroll in Community College this summer or Fall)
or current Community College students
Internship pay: $1000
