Preschools

Knox County Schools has four true preschools, but offers Blended Pre-K, Voluntary Pre-K, and Title I programs across the district.

KCS preschools nurture the traits children need to be successful in school through embedded skill-building and play experiences.

Knox County Schools operates 52 elementary schools across the district, including one virtual school.
KCS aims to introduce elementary school students to different experiences that will spark curiosity, wonder, and a love of learning while encouraging thoughtful consideration of what comes next in their academic journey.
