I am happy to be a member of the Gibbs Elementary School faculty.  

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Learning, Growth, Behavior and Development and a Master of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I also have a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay State University.  

My previous experience includes twenty-seven years of teaching experience at Carter Elementary School in various grade levels. Most of my teaching experience has been in first and fourth grade.  I have served as a lead teacher, math department chair and as TNCore Math Coach for the state of Tennessee. 

My husband Mark and I have a son named Adam and a daughter named Makenna.
