Beth Haun - 6th Grade Principal

    Ms. Haun earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from East Tennessee State University in 2006. She was then hired as a mathematics teacher with Knox County Schools in 2008. For the past ten years, Ms. Haun has taught at Carter High School. During that time she acted as Mathematics Department Chair, served on the School Leadership Team member, Freshman Academy team member, TEAM Lead teacher and evaluator, and won five Teacher of the Year Awards. Ms. Haun completed her Masters in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman University in May of 2018.

    Ms. Haun is thrilled to be serving as the 8th grade Assistant Administrator. Her focus is on supporting the Northwest Middle School’s foundations of “Ranger Ready,” “Ranger Pride,” and “Ranger Nation.” Ready to build positive and impactful relationships with parents, students, and staff. Additionally, Ms. Haun is eager to celebrate all the victories for both students and staff that this school year will bring. Lastly, creating a positive culture that reinforces a safe and welcoming environment for staff, students, and the community. Go Rangers!!!
