    The sites below will be beneficial for your upcoming mythology projects. You are not limited to only these sites, but they should serve as a good starting place. Please see your librarian if you need assistance. 

    Theoi Greek Mythology  - The Theoi project is a site exploring Greek mythology and the Gods in classic literature and art. The aim of the project is to provide a comprehensive, free reference guide to the gods (theoi), spirits (daimones), fabulous creatures (theres), and heroes of ancient Greek mythology and religion. This site also includes a section on Star Myths that will be useful for your constellation project. 

    Classical Mythology Online  - This is a companion site to the ninth edition of the book Classical Mythology. The Student Resources link provides glossaries and maps that may be useful to your research. 

    MythNET - This is a site dedicated to Greek Mythology and contains information about the myths, folklore and stories of the Olympians, Titans and other great heroes. 

    Encyclopedia Mythica - This is an award-winning internet encyclopedia of mythology, folklore and religion. Contains a mythology section broken down into six geographical regions,; a folklore section containing general foklore, Arthurian legends, and fascinating folktales from many lands; a bestiary, legendary heroes, image gallery, and genealogical tables of various pantheons and prominet houses.

    Encyclopedia of Greek Mythology - This free illustrated encyclopedia of Greek Mytholgy is available from Mythweb.

    GreekMythology.com - GreekMythology.com has information on all subjects of Greek Mythology, including details on Greek gods and Greek goddesses, Greek myths, and Greek heroes like Perseus and Hercules. It also has full text of Mythology and Literature books.

    Windows to the Universe - World Mythology - This site from the National Earth Science Teachers Association provides information on myths from around the world. This link will take you to specific information about constellation myths. 

    MythWeb - This site provides basic information about Greek mythology. It inlcudes a free encyclopedia. 

    Mythography - Explore mythology and art with information about the classic stories of heroes and gods...from the myths of ancient Greece and Rome, to the legends of the Celts. Mythography presents resources and reference materials about mythology - including recommended books, and lexicons that explain Greek, Roman, and Celtic terms.

    Ian Ridpath's Star Tales - This site contains excerpts from Ridpath's book on constellation myths. It also provides additional information not included in the original publication.
