PBIS is our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports program.  Our goal is to provide proactive strategies for teaching and supporting appropriate student behaviors to create a positive school environment.  A range of positive behavior supports for all students is implemented in the classroom and non-classroom settings.

PBIS is a team-based approach to teaching expectations and preventing problem behaviors.  It also teaches and encourages respectful and responsible behavior to all students.  Our goal is to create a safe and effective learning environment by reducing discipline issues and increasing instructional time.  PBIS is designed to support all students and all staff.

School-wide PBIS provides a positive focus to encourage desirable student behaviors.  A set of universal expectations for behavior, positively stated, are established for all students in all locations of our school.
