Aspiring Principals Program

Knox County Schools is pleased to provide its assistant principals and administrative assistants with an opportunity to participate in its Aspiring Principal Program (APP). This leadership development initiative is designed to further prepare school leaders as future school principals through a yearlong instructional program.

Between 10 and 14 aspiring principals will be identified to participate in the program, which will focus on leader performance standards, core knowledge of the major functions of the school district, and other skills needed to positively impact students, teachers, and communities.
