New elementary school zones were approved by the Board of Education at its regular meeting December 5. The new zones reflect the opening next fall of a new school in the southwest sector of the county.Rezoning will only affect elementary schools located within the southwest sector of Knox County.
Documents and maps reflecting the rezoning process are available on this site. New school maps and current school zone maps are available at KGIS (Knoxville Geographic Information Systems) which maintains school zone maps and many others.
